I got my license today, and passed. I wouldn't have done it without the help of Ashland driving school and their team. They helped me make myself comfortable behind the wheel, taught me what I needed to learn and always answered questions that I had. I highly recommend going to them for your driving lessons. And this is coming from somebody who has a learning disability, which means I struggle to contain information easily but they were nothing but kind, took their time and helped me a lot. They are also flexible with schedule, so if you can only do a certain time or day, they will ask you straight up before the class start which is always wonderful. I also suggest having them for your Road Test too, if you need a sponsor.

I would like to give a 5-star rating to Ashland Driving School for helping my teenager pass their driving test and get their license. I had a great experience with Ashland Driving School. I had little driving experience and my parallel parking was awful. After taking 10 lessons with instructor Dmitriy, I gained a lot of knowledge that helped me to pass the road test. The school owner Max also helped me prepare and organised the exam. Signing up for the Ashland Driving School road test bundle was a great decision! My daughter in-law passed her road test today and Max’s instruction was key. He knows and clearly communicates the finer requirements of successful road test driving. Max pointed out specific things to practice and that’s what we did. It was well worth my daughter in-laws time and money to benefit from Max’s knowledge. Thank you, Max.
For Regular Lessons, you will be picked up with the previous student in the vehicle, and during your lesson, as you are driving to drop off the previous student. Then at the end of your lesson, you will drive to pick up the next student, and then the next student will drive to drop you off. Please be prepared to spend extra time in the vehicle after your lesson ends, as you are being dropped off.
For Private Lessons, we will block out time before the lesson, so that there is no one to drop off, and you will be driving alone with an instructor throughout your lesson. However, you might be driving to pick up the next student at the end of your lesson unless the next student is also private, and then you will be dropped off.
A short one-on-one driving evaluation designed to assess the student’s current skill level, comfort behind the wheel, and readiness for lessons. This session helps our instructor recommend the right next steps based on the student’s needs.

Max Pertsovsky arrived to Boston from Eastern Europe with his family in 2018 and became a certified licensed driving instructor in 2020. He worked as a driving instructor and operations manager in various driving schools in Massachusetts before opening his own business in 2023. Max quickly developed his Ashland Driving School into a successful operation, focusing on excellent customer service, well-maintained vehicles, and experienced instructors. In his free time, he enjoys playing soccer and traveling.
