I had a great experience with Ashland Driving School! The instructors were very patient, professional, and made me feel comfortable behind the wheel. They explained everything clearly and helped build my confidence while driving. The lessons were well organized, and they focused on the skills I actually needed to pass my road test and become a safer driver overall.
Scheduling was easy all I had to do is email them, and the instructors were very friendly and helpful whenever I had questions. Truly the best Driver's Education program in the Boston/Worcester area! The website is clear and concise, the student portal is easy to manage, the owner (Max) is so responsive and accomodating, and scheduling/rescheduling lessons was easy. It's worth every penny, and my son was well prepared and passed his road test on the first try. So glad I found this school!

I worked with Max for one lesson before my road test and used his sponsorship on the exam day. I passed on the first try.
Max didn’t give generic tips — he pointed out the exact mistakes that could cause a failure and showed how to fix them. He explained how the examiner evaluates your driving and where I was losing points. During the test he also acted as an interpreter, which made the whole process much smoother.
If you’re a Russian speaker and you want to pass the road test without wasting attempts, Max is the best option. Thanks again, and good luck to him.
For Regular Lessons, you will be picked up with the previous student in the vehicle, and during your lesson, as you are driving to drop off the previous student. Then at the end of your lesson, you will drive to pick up the next student, and then the next student will drive to drop you off. Please be prepared to spend extra time in the vehicle after your lesson ends, as you are being dropped off.
For Private Lessons, we will block out time before the lesson, so that there is no one to drop off, and you will be driving alone with an instructor throughout your lesson. However, you might be driving to pick up the next student at the end of your lesson unless the next student is also private, and then you will be dropped off.
Teen Program (Drivers Ed Classes and Driving Course for Teenagers):

Max Pertsovsky arrived to Boston from Eastern Europe with his family in 2018 and became a certified licensed driving instructor in 2020. He worked as a driving instructor and operations manager in various driving schools in Massachusetts before opening his own business in 2023. Max quickly developed his Ashland Driving School into a successful operation, focusing on excellent customer service, well-maintained vehicles, and experienced instructors. In his free time, he enjoys playing soccer and traveling.
