I cannot recommend Max and his driving school highly enough! Our family recently moved from the UK, and all three of us—my husband, my son, and I—needed to pass the US driving test. The process was daunting, but Max made it seamless.
As our sponsor, he was incredibly reliable. We heard stories of instructors being hard to pin down, but despite being super busy, Max was always there for us. He never missed a test appointment and was consistently punctual and professional.

We are so happy with our experience at Ashland Driving School! My daughter just passed her driving test on her very first try, and we couldn’t be prouder. She started with very little driving experience, but thanks to the school’s great instructors, she quickly built up her skills and confidence behind the wheel. The lessons were clear, supportive, and never stressful, which made the whole process enjoyable for her.
It was amazing to see how much progress she made in such a short time. She went from being a little nervous in the beginning to driving safely and comfortably on her own. The instructors were patient, professional, and encouraging every step of the way.

For Regular Lessons, you will be picked up with the previous student in the vehicle, and during your lesson, as you are driving to drop off the previous student. Then at the end of your lesson, you will drive to pick up the next student, and then the next student will drive to drop you off. Please be prepared to spend extra time in the vehicle after your lesson ends, as you are being dropped off.
For Private Lessons, we will block out time before the lesson, so that there is no one to drop off, and you will be driving alone with an instructor throughout your lesson. However, you might be driving to pick up the next student at the end of your lesson unless the next student is also private, and then you will be dropped off.
Teen Program (Drivers Ed Classes and Driving Course for Teenagers):
30 hours of an education course, 12 hours behind the wheel*, 6 observation hours and 2 hours Parents’ class + appointment card for the student records + Parents Certificate Program Policy Price: $1000Special: $850

Max Pertsovsky arrived to Boston from Eastern Europe with his family in 2018 and became a certified licensed driving instructor in 2020. He worked as a driving instructor and operations manager in various driving schools in Massachusetts before opening his own business in 2023. Max quickly developed his Ashland Driving School into a successful operation, focusing on excellent customer service, well-maintained vehicles, and experienced instructors. In his free time, he enjoys playing soccer and traveling.
